Get to Know Edenwood
A little about us
Edenwood started at home, through our own love of renovating and creating spaces that felt right for us. We found ourselves drawn to bespoke pieces, thoughtful design and the difference that well-made furniture can make to a room. Rather than buying something mass-produced, we enjoyed finding ways to create pieces that suited our home, our style and the way we wanted to live.
Chris took on the woodworking, bringing the ideas to life through practical skills and a real interest in working with premium hardwoods. I focused on the interior design, thinking about the overall look and feel of each space and how the pieces would work within it.
Over time, something we had been doing for our own home grew into the idea for Edenwood: a small, independent woodworking business creating individual pieces for other people's homes.

Chris — The Maker
Chris is the woodworker behind Edenwood. He enjoys the process of taking an idea and working out how to make it into something practical, well-made and considered. His focus is on individual pieces, with an appreciation for the character of natural wood and the details that make a finished piece feel right.
No two projects are quite the same, and that variety is a big part of what makes the work enjoyable.
Jessica — Client Relations
I look after client relations and the day-to-day organisation behind Edenwood. My role is to make sure communication is clear, enquiries are looked after, and customers feel supported throughout the process.
With my interest in interior design, I also enjoy helping clients think through the details of a piece and how it might work in their home. I want the experience of commissioning something to feel straightforward, considered and personal, from the first conversation to the finished piece.
A considered approach
We understand that commissioning a bespoke piece is a personal decision. You might have a clear idea of what you want, or you might simply know that you haven't found quite the right thing yet.
We take the time to understand what you have in mind, discuss the practical details and agree on the important decisions before work begins. We believe in being clear about what's possible, communicating throughout the process and treating every enquiry with care.
Our aim isn't to make lots of the same thing. It's to create individual wooden pieces that suit the person they're being made for and the home they will become part of.

Edenwood brings together Chris's woodworking and my focus on design, organisation and the customer experience. We're a small business, and we like keeping things that way: personal enough to care about the details, and professional enough that you know what to expect.
